Safety at Shell Brasil is so important that it is interpreted in several ways - all of them essential. The Shell Safety Leadership Awards were introduced to show due appreciation for each one of them. The Awards acknowledge innovative initiatives by Shell Brasil contractor companies aimed at improving safety performance in their activities, encouraged by the Learner Mindset, one of the company's safety pillars.

First introduced in 2019, the Shell Safety Leadership Awards are in their third edition this year, with an increased focus on stimulating a Learner Mindset as a fundamental instrument for the continuous improvement of safety in all the activities of Shell Brasil and our contractors. This applies both in the operational context, in striving for Goal Zero, and in the creation of a more humane and welcoming work environment.
The Shell Safety Leadership Awards are open to all contractors that provide services to Shell Brasil and back up the company's strategic business vision, with a view to reducing the carbon footprint, the energy transition, developing people, respecting nature, and achieving the goal of zero net emissions by 2050.
In each edition, the Awards contribute towards increasing the synergy between Shell Brasil and its contractors and helping to disseminate, throughout the production chain, the foundations of a cleaner, more diverse, more humane, and safer industry. Ever better prepared to generate and distribute the energy of the future.
